OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of Maranatha Christian Center is firstly, ministry to the Lord; i.e., the entry into His presence with worship, praise and prayer. Secondly, ministry to the saints; i.e., the manifest love of God in vital fellowship and sound Biblical teaching. Thirdly, ministry to the world; i.e., the extension of God's kingdom through evangelism. Our purposes are also to raise up a people of faith to release in earth to the glory of the kingdom of God by exemplifying the ministry of Jesus Christ...win the lost, train the found. We depend upon the power of the Holy Spirit and utilize every resource through a Christ-centered, multifaceted ministry geared to meet the whole man and woman.

To raise up a people to worship the living God, glorify His Son, Jesus Christ, and honor the Holy Spirit.
THE WORD
To effectively preach and teach the Word of God to create an atmosphere in which the grace of God may be realized in human experience.
TRAIN FOR MINISTRY
To cultivate a person who perceives their individual and corporate calling in Christ to serve by helping them to discover, develop and dedicate their potential for ministering the life of Jesus Christ and relying upon the Holy Spirit's enablement to fulfill that ministry.
PRAYER AND FASTING
To maintain a discipline in prayer and fasting in the individual and corporate life which is consistent with God's Word, thus exposing us to the unlimited promises of God' our intercession committed to the overthrow of all hell's powers which dominate any of the affairs of mankind...personally, domestically, nationally or internationally.
EVANGELISM AND OUTREACH
To motivate believers to love mankind and to be committed to the Great Commission; to equip every age group to effectively share the Word of God and their personal testimony sanctioned by their Godly lifestyle; to invest time, talent and facilities to meet human needs in the community.
UNITY OF BELIEVERS
To function within the global fellowship of believers in Christ Jesus and emphasize our own doctrine and practical approach: maintaining that nothing shall separate us from communication with all who believe the Word of God and love Jesus, our Savior.
FINANCES
To employ economics of the Kingdom by (a) encouraging believers to be faithful stewards through the paying f tithes and the giving of offering, (b) utilizing every God-given resource to advance the purposes of the Kingdom of God and (c) maintaining high standards of moral, financial and business integrity in all aspects of this ministry.
